It seems just like yesterday that I was bringing my baby home from the hospital, and now she is 1 month old?! I know everyone says that time flies by when you have a baby, but dang! This isn’t fair!! I love watching her grow and learn new things, but also at the same time, I just want to keep her my tiny baby forever! I keep reminding myself this on our sleepless nights- one day she will be grown and not want to cuddle with mama anymore, so I have to enjoy it all while it lasts!
On August 2nd, our lives changed forever. We welcomed a beautiful, bright-eyed (and sassy) baby girl. I’d like to introduce you to Miss Scarlett Magnolia Bardot Kirchner.
Excuse me while I cry… This month officially marks 9 months of pregnancy with our baby Scarlett. 9 months. Full term baby!
What is better than having all of your favorite gals together, eating yummy food and playing fun games… while also being surrounded in a rainbow wonderland?! Nothing. There is nothing better than that! Especially after months of social distancing! My heart is just so full.
We celebrated Ian’s first Father’s Day by taking maternity pictures together! We had such a blast! I honestly, cannot believe we will be a family of 3 (4 if you want to include our fur-baby, Indigo) in just a few short weeks!!
8 months?! Only one month to go!!! I honestly cannot believe it! 2020 may not have gone the way anyone would have expected… But I am just thankful that I get to bring a little bit of sunshine into the world this year with Scarlett! Truly, the rainbow at the end of the storm! ❤
Well hello, third trimester!!! I cannot even believe we get to hold our sweet baby girl in just about 2 months! What?! Despite all that 2020 has thrown our way, this pregnancy is FLYING by! Makes me super excited and super sad at the same time… I wish I was able to experience my pregnancy with her when the world was in a much better state, but at the same time I am just so thankful that I get to have her in my arms so so soon!
Cannot believe I have officially been blogging for 2 YEARS! Time flies when you are having fun!! Year 2 has brought me so much joy and I am just so thankful to have you all here with me along the ride- following along on all my colorful creations and adventures!

I’d like to think of myself as pretty self-sustaining, in that I don’t feel I needed a whole lot extra to make myself feel pretty “normal” during my pregnancy. But with that said, pregnancy is HARD WORK (I mean you are literally creating life) and there are some things that certainly helped me so far!
