What time of the year do we enjoy the most candy? Halloween! So what better way to throw more candy into the mix than to make a piñata FULL of candy that looks like a piece of candy itself?! You really can never have enough candy at Halloween! (Though Doctor’s may disagree) Either way you look at it, you can’t deny how cute this little piñata is! And now I am going to show you just how you can make one of your own!

“SHE’S A BRICK HOUSE! She’s mighty-mighty, lettin’ it all hang out!” Who else remembers that Commodores song?! Well, that song is what inspired this DIY Halloween costume! And I am going to show you exactly how to make your own!

When we were on our anniversary road trip we decided to make a little detour and head to NYC! And I am so glad we did! We spent the entire day immersed in color – the best way to spend our 1st anniversary!

Happy #fashionfriday Artisans! As promised in my last blog post, today I am going to show you a few of my “The Office” themed looks from our road trip! And where to buy them!

You guys, this is the trip I have been planning in my head for so long, and I am so happy we were able to make it happen! If you know me at all, or you have read my bachelorette party blog post, you know I am obsessed with the show, “The Office”! It has, and will always have a special place in my heart (I mean, heck, I have a “World’s Best Boss” mug tattooed on my ankle, it better always have a special place in my heart. haha)
The day is here; our first wedding anniversary. They say time flies when you are having fun, and boy is that true! A year ago today I married my best friend and true love.
The saying goes, “a picture is worth a thousand words”. So, I am going to keep my commenting to a minimum on this post today, and just show you some of our absolute favorite photos that were taken of the happiest day of our lives.

Traditionally, you save the top tier of your cake on your wedding day and eat it on your first anniversary. Where, we do intend to also do that, I thought, why not make something fresh as well?! So I decided to make a personalized anniversary cake that not only tastes fresh and delicious, but also has significance.

Lots of bright colors in this weeks #fashionfriday which of course makes me so happy! We spent the evening soaking up all of the golden hour goodness and enjoying the late afternoon sun! I’m so thankful for such a beautiful bright and warm September day, but also looking forward to those crisp, chilly autumn nights! Bring it on Mother Nature! And oh yeah, I got a hair cut!
Unlike my bridal shower, I had NO input in my bachelorette party! My sister, Kristin, said she was tired of me always having my nose into everything and wanted the party to be a complete surprise. *rolls eyes* But, you know what? It was amazing!! And I am so lucky to be surprised with such an absolutely PERFECT celebration!!
