Happy almost 4th of July everyone!! I hope you all are able to spend time with your friends and loved ones this weekend! Not only does the 4th of July mark the beginning of America’s independence, it’s also basically marks the beginning of my favorite month. BIRTHDAY MONTH!
Like many others, my family usually celebrates the 4th with a grill-out at my parents and a (cheap) fireworks display. I’d like to say the fireworks are for my niece, but who am I kidding, we all enjoy them as much as her! lol Though, this year I will be out of town for our family’s 4th of July weekend party, I’m lucky I’m able to spend the day with them on the actual day to make up for it!
My parents added on a great new fire-pit addition to their yard this year, so we will now be celebrating with some s’mores on the 4th! Here’s to hoping this is a new tradition!
