You can brush my hair, undress me everywhere, imagination, life is your creation!
If you want to have a unique, easily recognizable costume, that is super easy and cheap to make, this one is for you!!

A Barbie Styling Head is such a girly childhood staple! My girls have one, and I had one when I was their age as well! I always loved brushing her hair and putting all kinds of different clips in it! And what little girl doesn’t like pretend (or real) makeup?! Come on!
After taking all of these pictures, my daughter came up to play and acted like she was putting makeup on me lol So, I guess I did a good enough job putting together this costume!

HOW TO:

SUPPLIES:
- Thick posterboard/cardboard
- Round table cloth
- Play makeup
- Barbie wig
- Other accessories (jewelry, hair clips, etc.)
- Scissors/X-acto Knife
- Hot glue gun
HOW TO:
Step 1 – Cut your posterboard into a circle.
Step 2 – Cut an oval in the middle of the circle posterboard. Large enough to fit the top of your torso.
Step 3 – Glue your table cloth on top of the posterboard. Make sure to cut out your tablecloth so that inner oval is open.
Step 4 – Now is the fun part! Glue the makeup and other accessories on top of the posterboard around the oval! Try to keep all accessories toward the front and sides of the table!

This costume was SO simple to put together! Altogether probably took me under an hour!

I have been wanting to create a “tabletop” costume for a while now, so I am happy I was able to make this idea come to life! I actually was planning to use this same costume (the table) to help create another costume this year as well, but I simply ran out of time! Bought all the supplies and everything! lol Maybe next year!

I had so much fun putting this costume together, but even more fun getting to wear this much fuchsia!! #BarbieGirl
